The placement process consists of the following stages:
- Registration: Every organization is required to register by filling up the recruitment form (will be mailed at the organization’s email id) and mailing it to the Placement Cell. The organizations are requested to register at the earliest so that we may invite them for a Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) at a mutually convenient date.
- Application from Students: The second stage is when the organization invites applications from the students. Organizations can send their customized application forms and/or accept the Resumes of the students based on which it can shortlist candidates.
- Pre-Placement Talk (PPT): The organization can hold a PPT to disseminate information about itself and the job profiles being offered to the students. PPT’s are typically held during the placement week for a duration of 30 minutes including a Q & A session. If an organization is unable to visit the campus for a PPT, it may send across any promotional material or presentation communicating the above mentioned information, which will be shared with the students.
- Placement process on campus: Each organization is allotted a particular date and time to conduct interviews on campus. The allocation of the date and time is done on the basis of ranking. The date and time allocated will be informed by the Placement Cell. Organizations are requested to get in touch with the Placement Cell for details regarding the placement process, both on-campus and off- campus.
- Offers: At the end of the selection process, organizations are requested to give final offers to candidates on the format made available by the placement cell. Organizations are requested to clearly mention the designation, compensation on CTC basis, location of the posting and other details asked for in the form.
- Intimation of offer acceptances/rejection: The acceptance or rejection of offers will be communicated to individual organizations through the Placement Cell.
