4) Executive Assistant - Intern
The Deshpande Executive Assistant Intern position has an exciting opportunity for talented individuals who desire to work in India for a minimum of 6 months. - Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with CEO/Director to track priorities, manage communications, coordinate follow-up, oversee workflow, and interface with staff and stakeholders as necessary
- Partner with key staff to develop strategy and work plans, following-up and contributing as necessary to ensure that deliverables and goals are met
- Anticipate and respond to the CEO's/Director’s needs relative to upcoming meetings and events; coordinate and manage appropriate resources
- Assist the CEO/Director with special projects including research, event planning and management, and preparation for speaking engagements
- Welcome and look after important visitors, including scheduling their meetings with other stakeholders both within and outside the organization. This may include managing complex calendars with frequent changes.
- Attend meetings pertinent to the CEO's/Director’s priorities and work streams and communicate decision and action items to appropriate staff
- Work cooperatively with other team members and assist in communicating constructive feedback, ideas and suggestions.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the various programs and projects being undertaken by the team.
- Manage a high level of communication regarding any information received and then edit and forward the same as required, adjusting the language or terminology to meet the needs of various end users.
- 2 – 4 years professional experience, experience in rapid-growth, entrepreneurial organization preferred
- Exceptional oral and written communication
- Superior organizational skills and detail-orientation
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and initiate in a fast-paced environment, lead projects, and effectively prioritize time and tasks
- Team player with the proven ability to build strong relationships and influence individuals at all levels of an organization, as well as external constituents
- High level of maturity and empathy; highly developed interpersonal and influencing capabilities
- Strong command of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
